Paymentology, a FinTech solutions provider based in the United Kingdom, is reinforcing its operations in the Middle East to offer more support for the financial services sector in the region.
The company, which has seen its growth doubled in recent times, has put together a team of professionals including Nauman Hassan as the Director for Client Services, Bilal Hashmi as Implementation Manager, Faizan Qureshi as Information Technology Manager, and Himanshu Mishra as Head of Project Management.
With Paymentology’s foray into the Middle East coming at a time when consumers are more inclined to adopt seamless and contactless payment solutions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the London-based payment technology solutions provider seeks to be at the forefront of a FinTech revolution that would enable the region’s consumers to perform transactions on the go. The company is currently handling several cloud-native banking projects in the region.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the demand for non-cash and contactless transactions, thus businesses and financial institutions have had little or no choice but to adopt digital and smart payment solutions.
And with the rise in online purchases, there is a corresponding rise in the demand for solutions that are flexible and consumer-centric. Banks and financial institutions need to do all they can to ensure that these needs are being met swiftly. Paymentology seeks to provide the necessary solutions to enhance the operational flexibility and agility of its clients as demanded by their customers.
According to Shane O’Hara, the CEO of Paymentology; “we have strengthened our regional operations by hiring some key professionals who have already started to negotiate with large banks and financial services companies. Our initial engagement with the banks shows their strong desire to completely digitise the banking and payments industry.”
The company maintains that with the technical proficiency of its staff and deep knowledge of the banking space, it has all it takes to constantly transform its services so that its clients can be at the forefront of providing competitive payment solutions to the market.
Paymentology was launched in 2015. The company is accredited to operate globally and has provided customer-centric payment solutions to banks such as Revolut and Mox Bank (a virtual bank created by Standard Chartered).
